Is Massage For Me?
In most cases the answer is YES. Everybody from an athlete to the occasional walker can benefit from massage. We all have that little niggle that progresses
over time, until we end up reaching for the pain killers. Addressing the cause of the pain will yield better results.

"Why massage?"
Massage, along with other techniques, can help to relieve anything from LOWER BACK PAIN to MIGRANE, as well as assisting in REHAB after injury.
After injury or a period of inactivity (a limb in a cast for example), muscles can become atrophied (or wasted). Rebuilding these muscles after the injury can be intensive and the muscles can become too tight and sore.
Also, through over training with inadequate stretching routines, muscles can end up in a hyper toned state.
Muscles that have become over worked and over tight (hyper toned) can become as weak as under worked muscles. With massage, we work to relieve the tension, and remove the adhesions to allow the muscle to work as well as possible.
Massage into these muscles and their tendons can greatly improve the recovery process and reduce recovery time as well as helping the muscles perform to their optimum ability.
Staying flexible and keeping your muscles supple, can greatly reduce the onset of injury, and, in the unfortunate case of an injury, muscles which are in good condition before injury recover quicker.
